Bengaluru: BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa said that he will visit Belagavi on Tuesday and try convincing the seers at the mutts to call off their agitation for a separate North Karnataka state.
Addressing the media, Yeddyurappa blamed CM H D Kumaraswamy for the current unrest in North Karnataka.
BSY said, CM Kumaraswamy reportedly told North Karnataka farmers that they had no moral right to demand crop loan waiver because they did not vote for him in the Assembly polls.
The BJP always stood for a united Karnataka and at no cost will it support the division of the state, Yeddyurappa stated.
