Shimoga: Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced plans to embark on a statewide tour following the festival season.

Addressing the pressperson, he emphasized the need for a legislative session in Belgaum, which now boasts a newly constructed, sizable building for the purpose.

Yediyurappa expressed concerns about irregular power cuts and the lack of water for farmers’ pump sets, resulting in severe crop damage. He urged the government to take immediate action to rectify the situation.

The former CM also voiced dissatisfaction with the recent decision concerning the Cauvery issue and called for an appeal to the Supreme Court to seek justice. He called on the government to take the necessary measures in this regard.
