Mandya: Death of more than 9 to 10 dogs has been reported in Dwarakanagar area of Mandya since last week. Two days ago, two more canines were found dead caused by food poisoning.
Dwarakanagar area is a posh locality where the affluent people of the city reside. Buglers are suspected to have poisoned these canines for easy execution of theft.
The canines guarding the houses were very alert and fierce. This was a great obstacle to the burglar’s plans of committing crimes. Therefore the burglars ended up poisoning the dogs in the night and the dogs were found dead the next morning.
Complaint has been filed in Mandya Rural police station and further investigation on the details of the deaths of the canines is still in progress.
