Bus-car collision claims one life

Mangaluru: A person died on the spot while several others sustained injuries in a collision between a car and bus at Parari on national highway on Saturday, December 28 afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Dr Vernon D’Silva, principal of Alvas College of Medical Laboratory Technology in Moobdidri
As per reports, the accident occurred after the driver of the bus headed towards Mangaluru from Moodbidri lost control and collided into the car coming from the opposite direction before falling into a roadside ditch.
A case in this regard has been registered with Mangaluru rural police.
