Bus driver dead, six injured after KSRTC bus collides into parked lorry

Chitradurga: A bus driver died on the spot while six other persons sustained injuries after a KSRTC bus rammed into a stationary truck in Hiriyur taluk here on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Premnath (53).
The KSRTC was headed towards Bengaluru from Kalaburgi when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a truck parked by the roadside here. The injured persons have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered at Aimangala police station.
