Bus hits divider; two dead

Udupi: Two from here lost their lives when the bus in which they were travelling met with a major accident on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Shishir (14) and Mahesh (44) from Brahmavara.

The bus which was plying from Kundapura to Bengaluru met with an accident at Hirisave of Chennarayapattana taluk on Friday morning.

It has been reported that, Shishir was thrown out of the bus, when the bus hit the divider and got crushed under the vehicle.

Mahesh sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.

There were a total of 23 passengers in the bus. The injured have been  admitted to Adichunchanagiri Medical College Hospital.
