Bus hits sand mound; 20 injured

Udupi: A private bus hit a sand mound and fell down while it was on its way from Karkala to Mangaluru.

Four passengers were badly hurt while another 15 were injured in the accident.

The four have been shifted to a private hospital in Manipal, while the remaining passengers who sustained minor injuries have been moved to Srinivas Hospital in Mukka and the Government Hospital in Karkala.

A case was registered at the Karkala Rural Police Station limits.
