Mysuru: More than 20 people were injured after a private bus travelling from Mysuru to Erode fell into a gorge at the 25th hairpin bend near Thimbam in the Sathyamangalam Ghat late on Friday.
A private bus travelling from Mysuru to Erode fell into a gorge on Friday and over 20 persons were seriously injured.
The accident occured at the 25th hairpin bend near Thimbam in the Sathyamangalam Ghat.
The police said that 18 persons were injured and have been taking treatment at a Sathyamangalam government hospital here.
The police said, quoting eyewitnesses, that a few injured were taken away in cars to Karnataka.
