Buses, emergency vehicles allowed at Shiradi ghat at night

Mangaluru: The Deputy Commissioner of Hassan district R Girish has permitted the movement of government and private buses and emergency vehicles such as ambulances through the Shiradi ghat.
All vehicular traffic was stopped through the Donigal stretch of the ghat in the Hassan district after a landslide.
Later, the entry of vehicles was stopped from 6 pm to 6 am.
Now all vehicles will be allowed to ply on the road during the daytime only except buses and emergency vehicles which can run throughout the day.
