Byndoor: Cow slaughter video uploaded on social media; case registered

Byndoor: Police officials have registered a case against several people after a video of cow slaughter was uploaded on social media on September 24.

The accused are Mali Rizwan, Moulvi and Urdu school head, Maulana Hadi, Iliyas living near Janata Ice Factory, Mali Subhan, Abu Sali, Abdul Razack, Majeed alias Fitter Majeed, Mohammad Ibrahim, Imam Sheik, and others.

It is said that the cows were stolen and brought near the fish market of Gangolli and they were slaughtered in a violent manner.

The video of the incident was made with the specific intention of hurting Hindu sentiments. It is said that the accused had illegally slaughtered the animals in public places with the aim of starting communal violence.
