Byndoor: Two children drown in rivulet

Byndoor: Two school students drowned in a rivulet near Byndoor on Thursday while they were swimming.

The deceased are identified as Vamshit Shetty (12) and Rithesh Shetty (12). The search is in progress to locate the bodies of the deceased.

As per the sources the incident took place when the four children had gone swimming in the rivulet. While Vamshit Shetty and Rithesh Shetty died, the other two Pradwith Shetty and Vijayendra Shetty, swam back safely from water as they knew swimming.

A case in this regard has been registered at Byndoor police station.
