Byndoor: Youth drowns at a waterfall

Byndoor: A youth who had visited a water fall along with his friends on Sunday evening drowned at Golihole near here. The deceased is identified as Kumar Poojary (24).
As it was a holiday, the deceased had visited Golihole Gunmi waterfall along with his friends to kill some time. In the process of plying in the water, Mr Poojary lost his balance and fell into the water. It is being said that while playing in the water, a rock tumbled into the water and at the same moment, the deceased also lost his balance and plunged into the water.
It is learnt that although the deceased was quickly fished out of the water and rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last along the way.
