CA aspirant dies amid Ganeshotsava pyrotechnics

Tumakuru: In a tragic accident, a 21-year-old CA student of BRICS Academy at Malleswaram in Bengaluru, died in a pyrotechnics accident at Tiptur Village on Monday, December 3 morning.

The deceased is identified as Sitara hailing from Hadavanaghatta Janatha Colony near Ammasandra of Turuvekere taluk. The incident took place when Sitara and her friends watching an exhibition of pyrotechnics at Ganeshotsava programme.  

A high capacity cracker exploded, killing her on the spot and leaving three more persons injured. The injured persons were admitted to the government hospital. Later, he was shifted to NIMHANS in Bengaluru.  informed sources.
