CAA Protests: Cong leaders including Siddu to visit city today

Mangaluru: A day after two persons were killed in police firing after protests against Citizenship Amendment Act took a violent turn in Mangaluru, senior Congress leaders, including former chief minister Siddaramaiah, will be visiting the city today (December 20) afternoon.

As per sources, former Karnataka Assembly speaker K R Ramesh Kumar and former ministers M B Patil, S R Patil, Zameer Ahmed Khan among others will accompany Siddaramaiah during his visit here.

The Congress leaders are expected to arrive in Mangaluru city via a special flight at 1.30 pm and will visit the violence-hit areas of the city and hold discussions with the locals.

Meanwhile, the BJP has accused Congress of fueling violence over the Citizenship Amendment Act
