CAA protests: Police impose prohibitory orders in M’luru till Dec 20

Mangaluru: Section-144, which prohibits the gathering of five or more people will be imposed in the city from 9:00 pm on Wednesday to December 20 midnight.
City Police Commissioner imposed the orders in the backdrop of protests and demonstrations planned by various organizations and political parties against the Citizenship Amendment Bill and NRC passed by Central Government.
Various organizations has planned protests and demonstrations on December 19 and 20 in the city against CAA and NRC.
