Cabinet expansion in 2-3 days: CM Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa basking on the victory in the by-elections to both assembly constituencies, has given good news to aspiring ministers by announcing that there will be a cabinet expansion in two to three days.

Speaking to reporters he said, “We will fulfil the promise given to the people in the by-election and will complete all development works in the constituencies.”

He also thanked the voters for voting BJP candidates in the by-elections.

“I am going to convene BJP senior leadership meet tomorrow or the day after. After the meeting, the Cabinet will be expanded within 2-3 days,” he said.

Muniratna, who won the RR Nagar assembly by-election today, is also a ministerial candidate. Presently, seven ministerial berths are vacant.
