Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that he would discuss the cabinet expansion with the BJP high command during his visit to New Delhi this week.
The much-awaited cabinet expansion is likely to take place by this month-end.
Two ministers in Bommai’s cabinet — Ramesh Jarkiholi, and KS Eshwarappa — had resigned, whereas Minister Umesh Katti had passed away.
The CM is currently holding several big portfolios, along with his earlier portfolios of Finance and Bengaluru Development.
At present, Bommai also holds Water Resources, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, and Food and Civil Supplies, besides Forest.
