Udayavani-Canara to organize ‘Chinnara Banna’ drawing competition

Taluk level drawing competition from October 19

Udupi: Canara High School Association in collaboration with Artists’ Forum is organizing ‘Udayavani-Chinnara Banna’, a Taluk-level colouring competition for children from October 19.

The competition has been sub-divided into three categories i.e for students from class 1- 3, class 4-7 and class 8-10.

Participants of the third category i.e class 8-10 will be given the theme for the competition on the venue prior to the contest, the other two category participants are free to choose a theme of their own.

Details of the venue and timings for the contest are as follows:

Karkala 20.10.2019 K Damoodhar Kini memorial Indoor stadium, Shri Bhuvanedra College Karkala.  2pm-4pm
Puttur 20.10.2019 Vivekananda High School, Tenkila, Puttur. 2pm-4pm
Mangaluru 26.10.2019 Canara High School, Urwa, Mangaluru. 2pm-4pm
Udupi 26.10.2019 Bhavani Mantapa, Shri Janardhana Mahakali Temple, Ambalpady, Udupi. 2pm-4pm

Organisers will provide drawing sheets at the venue, apart from which all other materials required for the competition will have to be brought by the participants.

Awards will be given to the first, second, third place winners. All participants will be awarded participation certificates and a gift hamper.

The results of the contest, as well as the award-winning drawings, will be published in Udayavani newspaper.
