Car crashed into another car; one dead, four injured

Kasaragod: A youth lost his life and four others sustained injuries after a car crashed into another car after the driver of the prior lost control of his vehicle at Pallikare Poochakkad early on Saturday morning on June 1.

The deceased has been identified as Ajmal Amrose (21), residing at Cherkala fifth mile in the district. The injured are Rashid, Amanulla, Juraid and Sahad and have been admitted at a hospital in Mangaluru.

Ajamal was travelling in an Innova car which suddenly went out of control and crashed into a car that was parked on the roadside. The speed of the vehicle and the force of impact was such that car toppled consequently claiming a life and injuring four persons.

The corpse of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the general hospital here and will be handed over to the relatives after autopsy.

Bekal police have registered a case in this connection.
