Car goes up in flames; Miraculous escape for driver

Puttur: The driver of a car had a  had a miraculous escape when the Ford  Ikon car he was driving went up in flames all of a sudden at Santyar in Sampya Rural Police Station limits.

Irshad of Palthady was the driver and owner of the car who had a miraculous escape from death’s embrace.

Irshad was on his way to Puttur when an ambulance driver driving behind the Ikon saw noticed the fire and alerted Irshad. He immideatly stopped the car at a bend on the road and got out. Within moments of his getting out the entire car was engulfed in flames.

Puttur fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the flames and a case has been registered at Sampya rural police station.
