Beejadi: A speeding car overturned and collided with a tempo parked on the service road after the driver suddenly braked to avoid a collision with a vehicle on National Highway 66 in front of Beejadi Cross here.

The car was traveling from Udupi towards Jadkal when the incident took place. Fortunately, the driver of the car escaped unharmed. However, the vehicle was severely damaged in the accident.

Reportedly, the driver of a WagonR car braked suddenly upon seeing a barricade. The driver of the car following the WagonR also applied sudden brakes to avoid a collision. However as the car was speeding, the sudden braking caused the car to crash into the divider, overturn, and subsequently collide with a tempo parked on the service road.
