Case registered against building owner

Bengaluru: Police from Vivek Nagar Station have registered a case of criminal negligence against S Gunesh, the owner of the building which collapsed where seven killed and few others injured here on Monday.
Cases under Section 304-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), causing death by negligence, and section 338, causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others, have been registered against the owner.
Gunesh has been taken into Police custody for further interrogation on the case.
