Case registered against former minister Sharanprakash and 23 others for lockdown violation

Kalburgi: A case has been registered against 23 people including former minister and Congress leader Dr Sharanprakash Patil for allegedly holding a public meeting in violation of the lockdown.
The case pertains to a COVID-19 awareness public meeting held by Patil in a hall at Sulepet area of the city on May 13.
The case was registered after a complaint was filed by sector magistrate Munir Ahmed.
The Police has registered FIRs against Dr Sharanprakash Patil, Nageshwara Rao, Venkatrama Reddy, Naga Reddy, Pratap Reddy, Ramaiah Poojary and other Congress workers.
