Udupi: A case has been registered against BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje for violating the model code of conduct through her tweet on the Ramnavami.
In her tweet wishing Ramnavami, she had also attached a photo of Rama firing an arrow which depicted the arrow as Modi. The arrow aimed at Ravana’s 10 heads was picturized as if it was aimed at 10 leaders’ of the opposition parties. Thus, a complaint was filed with the Udupi city police alleging that the picture was against religious sentiments and thus in violation of the model code of conduct.
