Cash and valuables robbed from a woman at Indiranagar

Bengaluru: A middle aged woman was robbed of cash, debit cards and other valuables on Monday.

The incident occured at the 80 Feet Road in Indiranagar.

As per the complaint, Purnima Rao (59) stated that, she had parked her car near a cosmetics store on the 80 Feet Road. After she returned, a man showed her a few ten rupees currency notes lying in front of her car. He told her it must be hers and she went to pick them up. But when she turned around, she found the two men weren’t there. When she sat inside her car, she found her bag was missing. She told the police that she suspected the men were following her.  

A case has been registered at Jeevan Bima Nagar police station.
