CBI raids Amnesty International office in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted raids at the Amnesty International’s office in Bengaluru.

The raids were conducted at the Bengaluru office in connection with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act against human rights watchdog.

The CBI is looking at a possible and alleged violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act linked into the NGO’s accounts and the central probe agency is looking for documents.
