CBI raids Vijay Mallya owned UB Group offices in Bengaluru on Monday

Bengaluru: Officials from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raiding the offices of liquor baron, defaulter Viajay Mallya owned UB Group since Monday morning in Bengaluru after obtaining a search warrant. The raid is in progress and details of the search is awaited. 

The raid is being conducted in the wake of crores of profit earned by the UB City project of Vijay Mallya for the past a few months. Vijay Mallya had earlier stated before an investigation team that his UB City project was under financial crunch. However, for the past a few months huge amount of money has been deposited to the bank accounts of the UB City, the sources said.
