CCB raids live band; 20 arrested, 71 women rescued

Bengaluru: The central crime branch (CCB) on Thursday, July 25 night carried out raid at Page – 3 Bar and Restaurant cum live band and arrested 20 persons on the allegation of bringing in some female dancers to perform vulgar dances for them.

Some of the arrested persons are identified as Karthik H (24), Jeevan Kumar (25), Manoj, and Anand.

It is gathered that the police carried out the raid after receiving information from a reliable source that some women illegally kept at the mentioned bar cum restaurant and getting them to perform obscene dances.

The police have also rescued as many as seventy-one women and the rescued women belong to different states.
