CCB summons Akul Balaji, Aryann Santosh in Sandalwood drug case

Bengaluru: The CCB police on Friday issued notice to anchor Akul Balaji, actor Aryann Santosh in the ongoing probe against the drug scandal in the Sandalwood film industry.

Apart from the duo, notice has also been issued to Yuvraj, son of former Chamrajpet MLA RV Devraj.

The notice was sent via Whatsapp asking them to appear for the inquiry in person at CCB office tomorrow.

A photo of Aryann Santosh with actress Sanjjanna Galrani, who has in judicial custody has gone viral on social media. Reacting to the summons, Aryann and Akul said that they would cooperate with the CCB in its interrogation.

Yuvraj on the other hand expressed surprise at how his name cropped up in this case. He claimed that he has no contact with any of the accused.

Actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanna Galrani are in judicial custody while actor couple Diganth Manchale and Aindrita Ray have also been questioned in connection with the drug abuse case.
