CD case: High Court issues notice to govt, ComPol after woman’s petition

Bengaluru: The woman featuring in the sex video with Ramesh Jarkiholi has petitioned the High Court against the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case.
In her petition, the woman stated that SIT has not investigated the case properly and requested the disbanding of the present SIT and forming a new one and cancelling the investigation done so far.
The High Court issued notices to the State government and the police commissioner regarding the petition.
There have been many developments in the case since the release of the CD.
Recently, Ramesh Jarkiholi accepted that it was him in the video adding that he and the woman were involved in consensual sex.
