Bengaluru: The former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on Saturday said that the parents of the woman in the purported sex video revealed the truth today.
Addressing presspersons here at his Sadashivnagar residency Ramesh Jarkiholi said that DK Shivakumar is unfit to be in politics.
He also said that he has eleven pieces of evidence that prove his innocence
“My family members are not involved in such dirty matters,” he added.
“..I’m ready to join hands with Kumaraswamy (of JDS) or anyone against him (Shivakumar) will be fighting him both legally and politically. I will not contest from Gokak, will make my brother contest from there and work to defeat Shivakumar in Kankapura,” he said.
Jarkiholi also claimed he has some evidence and will hand them over to the SIT.
Hitting out at Shivakumar, the Gokak MLA alleged he was unfit for politics and appealed to all political party leaders including Congress to retire him politically.
“…such conspiracies should not be hatched. There is no pardon for him”, he said and pointed out the family’s statement has proved him innocent.
The parents of the woman in the former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi case on Saturday, March 27 alleged that their daughter is held hostage by Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar.
Jarkiholi’s and the woman’s parents comments came hours after Congress President D K Shivakumar said that he has never met the woman in the purported sex video allegedly involving former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, as the row took a new twist with the surfacing of an audio clip in which she can be heard taking his name.
