Centre forms 10 empowered groups to deal with Covid-19 and its aftermath

In the wake of coronavirus, both centre and state government are taking up initiatives to help fight the virus.
Now, Modi government has established 10 groups to ensure proper implementation of government measures to battle the Covid-19. The groups include bureaucrats and specialists.
The empowered groups and the strategic task force have been set up in order to deal with coronavirus spread and its aftermath. The six-member strategic task force will deal exclusively with the issues related to the lockdown.
The groups have been empowered to formulate plans and to take all necessary steps for their timely implementation. Each group has senior representatives from PMO and Cabinet Secretariat to ensure seamless coordination.
There is a medical emergency response team to ensure availability of doctors and staff. Another group is formed to ensure the regular supply of medical equipment.
Also, a group to ensure that there are enough hospitals and quarantine facilities across the country is formed.
A separate group has been formed to ensure that there is no shortage of food and medicines across the country and another group for economic and welfare measure for people suffering due to pandemic has been formed.
Groups to handle public information and creating public awareness, to look after public grievance and data management also have been formed.
