CFTRI’s to host TechBharat-2022 from May 19; to bring together FoodTech and AgriTech industry

The third edition of the TechBharat-2022 will be hosted jointly by CSIR-CFTRI and Laghu Udyog Bharathi from May 19 at the CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute) campus in Mysuru.
The theme for the 3-day event of the 2022 edition is “Transforming India’s FoodTech, AgriTech, and Agronomic Landscape”.
CFTRI Director Dr. Sridevi Annapoorna Singh told media persons on Tuesday that the thrust is on making farmers aware of the food processing and value addition technologies such as drones, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The expo brings together companies involved in the FoodTech and AgriTech industry. “TechBharat – FoodTech offers a compelling environment of knowledge sharing through a powerful conference and masterclasses. Speakers include policymakers from the Government, heads of India’s most powerful food manufacturing, marketing, technology, and retailing companies, as well as domain experts from some of the world’s most respected market research organizations,” the website of the event said.
Further, “TechBharat – Agri Tech offers “a perfect conference for understanding the latest trends in agri-tech innovation. TechBharat Agri Tech of bringing in a fantastic blend of established, multinational companies along with a vast array of exciting start-ups, that attract investors, business development leaders, technology scouts, media, etc. A preferred forum for networking in the Agri tech space.”
