Davangere: In relation to the death case of BJP legislator Renukacharya’s nephew Chandrashekhar (fondly called Chandru), Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that only after all investigative reports are submitted by the investigating officers, will the government take a decision on the next level of investigation.
On Wednesday, November 9, CM Bommai met Chandrashekhar’s family and offered his condolences.
Speaking to the media he said, “We will take a call on the investigation process only based on postmortem, forensic, and crime scene recreation reports. The investigating officers must not reach any conclusion until the reports are received. We will take this to a logical conclusion”.
“Renukacharya is like my brother. Hence, I’ve not come here as a CM, but like a brother to offer my condolences”, he added.
