Mangaluru: The wife of slain BJP activist Praveen Nettaru has lost her job following the Congress government’s orders to cancel temporary appointments made by the previous BJP-led government.
The BJP government had offered contractual employment to Nuthan Kumari M, wife of Praveen on compassionate grounds vide a notification issued on September 29, 2022 which stated that she has been hired for a ‘Group C’ post in the Chief Minister’s Office.
Her recruitment notification said that will continue to remain in employment till either Basavraj Bommai continues to be the Chief Minister or any new order is issued related to her job.
After reporting to duty, Nuthan expressed a desire to work in Mangaluru. Based on her request she had been posted to the disaster management department at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Mangaluru.
However, with the present Congress government’s order on the cancellation of temporary appointments, Nuthan has lost her job. The issue has been brought to her notice. Meanwhile, she can submit a letter seeking the government to reconsider allowing her to continue the job.
