Charmadi Ghat: On-duty bus conductor dies due to massive heart attack

Kottigehara: An on-duty KSRTC bus conductor died of a heart attack near Malayamaruta in Charmadi ghat on Saturday morning.

The victim has been identified as Vijaya (43).

The bus was on its way to Udupi from Chikkamagaluru. At around 8.30 AM, the bus conductor complained of chest discomfort and was rushed to the Banakal Hospital for first aid. Thereafter he was referred to the MGM Hospital in Moodigere for further treatment.

However, Vijay passed away at the hospital without responding to treatment, sources said.
