Chattekallu dacoity case: Four more arrested

Sullia: Four more people have been arrested by the police in connection with a dacoity case.

The arrested are identified as Karthik, Yadhukumar, Deekshith K N, and B Narasimhan.

During the arrest, the police have recovered Rs 20, 000 and vehicles used for the crime, and five mobile phones

Search is still on for the other accused involved in the crime.

Case details:

A house belonging to Ambarish, a resident of Chattekallu, Sampaje village of Sullia Taluk was looted on April 20.

The accused had gagged Asha S Heggade in the absence of her husband and looted the house.

Following the incident, Asha had filed a police case in Sullia police station. In her complaint she had mentioned that the thieves had stolen Rs 1, 52 000 cash and 83-gram gold.
