Chief Minister promises primacy for Kannada and state’s own flag in farewell post

Bengaluru: With Chief Minister Siddaramaiah creating the history by becoming the first Chiuef Minister in 40 years to complete an entire five-year term – he took to online networking to say goodbye while batting for supremacy for Kannada and the state’s own flag.
On his Facebook wall, the Chief Minister wrote”I thank the people of Karnataka for this honour…Going forward, we will work with all to strengthen and build the Karnataka model of development. The Nava Karnataka we build together is one where the Kannada language has primacy, where the Kannada dhwaja (flag) will stand tall and proud and where Karnataka makes India proud.”
He likewise composed that Karnataka should become a state where all kids are guaranteed of ten years of value education, youth get training and employement, guaranteed water system for farmers, free education for girls, laptops for financially weaker public and so on.
