Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launches much-awaited ‘Namma 100’ app

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the much-awaited ‘Namma 100’ application-based helpline of Bengaluru police Commissionerate here on Saturday.
Helplines similar to ‘Namma 100’ will be launched in other districts too, to assist in and provide government run services like police, ambulance and fire.
During the initial stages, Bengaluru residents will be receive assistance from the police including traffic matters via the ‘Namma 100’ application and after certain technical changes, fire and ambulance services will also be included.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah received the first call made via the application by a lady who urged authorities to help her as she had lost her passport.
