Chief Minister warns police against hafta

Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and his deputy Dr. G Parameshwara held a meeting with senior police authorities on June 22 to talk about different issues, especially the law and order in the state. 

At the meeting, the Chief Minister is accounted for to have given strict cautioning to the police with respect to specific issues. It is learnt that the Chief Minister has especially cautioned the officers not to enjoy the corrupt activity with regards to collecting “hafta” and to take strict move against anybody indulging the practice. 

He informed the officers to carry out their allotted tasks and quit endeavoring to change their assigned postings by utilizing power and influence. 

SPs from all of the district and senior officers took part in the meeting held at the DG/IG’s office.
