Chikkaballapur: A KSRTC conductor has issued a ticket for a rooster being transported in his bus.

The incident was reported from Gudibande in Chikkaballapur district.

Reportedly, a passenger who was going to Someshwar in Gudibande taluk from Peresendra by a KSRTC bus was carrying a local breed of the rooster in his hand. The conductor saw this issued a ticket of five rupees in respect of the fowl.

The conductor had charged ten rupees for the man and five rupees for the rooster.

The passenger who got the ticket got the bird seated on a seat and when fellow passengers asked him to pick the bird up so that the seat can be used by someone, he refused to do so stating that he had bought a ticket for the bird and therefore had the right in getting it seated in a separate seat.
