Chikkaballapur: Complete lockdown in the district from May 20-24

Chikkaballapur: Amid the exponential rise in COVID-19 cases, a complete lockdown will be imposed in the Chikkaballapur district from May 20 for four days, informed Nodal officer Ashok

Speaking at a Press Conference, Ashok said, ” In order to curb the spread of Covid-19, we have decided to impose a complete lockdown from May 20 to May 24. Also, Section 144 will be in force across the  district. We request the public to cooperate and follow all the rules.”

As per the guidelines, people can shop for essentials from 6 am – 10 am and will be allowed to purchase medical supplies from the nearest pharmacies.

Also, it is said that there will be no home quarantine and those who test  Covid-19 positive will be shifted to Covid-19 care Centre in Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential  school and will be given necessary treatments
