Chikkaballapur: Woman delivers baby in ambulance

Chikkaballapur: A pregnant woman, Vanitha, from Gundlapalli village of Guluru hobli in Bagepalli taluk in the district gave birth to a baby boy in an ambulance on April 29.
She was being taken to the taluk hospital in the early morning when she delivered the baby en route.
An ASHA worker Anita and the ambulance crew member Seenappa successfully delivered the baby.
Later, the new mother and the newborn child were taken to the hospital. Both are healthy.
