Chikkaballapura: At least 19 people, including four members of a family, were injured when a private bus fell into a canal near Amitaganahalli in Chintamani taluk on November 19.
The driver of the bus, which was on its way to Tirupati from Chitradurga, lost control and drove the bus into a canal. Fortunately, there was no loss of lives.
Local villagers and Chintamani Taulk police rushed the injured to the Chintamani Pubilc Hospital. MLA J K Krishna Reddy also visited the public hospital and enquired about the well-being of the injured.
