Chikkamagalur: A 7-year old girl died after falling into a water tank which was left uncovered while playing near her house at Indravathi estate, Koove village in Moodigere Taluk.
The water tank was being used by the family to store water for their own consumption. The deceased has been identified as Prarthana, daughter of Geetha and Sheshappa.
A case has been registered at Baloor Police station.
