Chikkamagaluru: The BJP launched a poster campaign in Chikkamagaluru, taking potshots at the recent guarantees launched by the Congress government in the state and other political issues.
Posters have been found pasted across various locations including the taluk office, MESCOM office, taluk panchayat, and tourist spots, aimed to satirize and critique the promises made by the ruling party.
Notably, the campaign featured a satirical depiction of Yatindra Siddaramaiah, whose viral phone conversation video became a talking point recently. The BJP utilized this to create a ‘shadow CM’ poster, intensifying the political narrative.
The posters displayed caricatures aimed at the government, one notably portraying the energy minister, K. J. George, as missing, implicating a statewide blackout and also targeting the energy sector and recent hikes in electricity bills.
