Chikkamagaluru businessman’s body recovered from Netravati River

The lifeless body of Prasanna B.S., a 37-year-old businessman from Chikkamagaluru, was discovered on Tuesday after he jumped from the Netravati Bridge on National Highway 66 into the river.

Prasanna, an agribusinessman and resident of Chikkamagaluru Mugulavalli’s Gokul Farms lost his life by plunging into the river.

The recovery of Prasanna’s body occurred near Thotabengre, under the Panambur Police Station in the city, on Tuesday afternoon, following a search effort involving local swimmers, the fire brigade, and fishermen.

Despite having no apparent financial issues, the motive for Prasanna’s suicide remains unknown. His family members arrived at the scene as news of circulated in the media.
