Chikkamagaluru: A couple was killed and their infant child was seriously injured in a serial accident involving a car, tipper lorry, and a bike on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Syed Asif 938) and his wife Majeena (33) from Shivamogga.
The deceased were returning to Shivamogga from Chikkamagaluru with their 14-month-old child on the bike. The infant sustained serious injuries in the accident has been admitted to a hospital.
The driver of the tipper lorry fled from the spot after the incident.
A case has been registered at the Sakharayapatna police station.
