Chikkamagaluru: M’luru man suspected of COVID-19 admitted

Chikkamagaluru: A 45-year-old man who had recently returned from Dubai has been admitted to the novel coronavirus isolation ward at the district hospital here.

The person hailing from Mangaluru had visited his sister at Moodigere on March 11. He had a fever and as the fever persisted he visited a private hospital on Thursday, March 12.

The physicians treating him on learning that he had returned from Dubai two weeks ago suspected COVID-19 and sent him for treatment to the district hospital.

His samples have been sent to Bengaluru for testing and the results are awaited.
