Chikkamagaluru: One person was killed and 4 others were injured after being struck by lightning in Yagatipura of Kadur taluk of the district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Mukesh (40) from Bhavikere of Tarikere taluk.
It is gathered that the lightning struck suddenly when Mukesh and others were waiting outside a temple.
The injured returned home after receiving treatment at the Kadur government hospital.
